WE'D HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAGING YOUR BIKES/BOATS FRIDAY EVENING.

BIKES:
LOCATION : This TA is about a 15 minute drive from the Start. Staff will be camped to watch your gear overnight. You may leave anything you'd like at this TA, however, you must take everything with you when you leave on your bikes. For planning purposes, you should likely be seeing this TA within the first 4 hours of the race.
Our General Disclaimer: There's several points along the course where you may find it advantageous to drop your bike and proceed on foot. While we had no worries about our bikes getting stolen while setting the course - we also don't own $4,000 carbon mtbs. So, carry a bike-lock if you have concerns.

BOATS: LOCATION : This TA is about a 5 minute drive from the Start. You only need to visit this location if you're using your own boat. Your gear will be secured overnight. If you're just using your own PFDs/Paddles/Seats bring them (and nothing else) for staging to the Start on Saturday morning - we'll transport them for you. We'll also be bringing back personal PFDs/Paddles/Seats after the Finish directly to the Woodland Center. For those using their own boats, go ahead and stage PFDs/Paddles/Seats (and nothing else) inside your boats - do the same after the paddle so you can pick everything up directly after the race.

If you rented a canoe/kayak it will be staged for you (with paddles and PFDs) for your arrival during the race. The canoes do not have a center seat. Note that if you decide to use the provided paddles you must use the type provided with your boat (single-blade for canoes or double-blade for kayak).

WATER: No official water-stations are part of this course. Be prepared to treat on-course if needed.

Each team/solo will receive one pre-plotted 1:24,000 scale map (18x24) and a race instruction booklet printed on waterproof paper. Note that a UTM plotter is still required (in case we need to make any last minute changes) but you'll likely not be required to plot anything.

Everything you need to know is probably in this communication or at www.361adventures.com. If you still have questions, feel free to email us.
Thanks again for Committing to Adventure, and we'll see you at the race!
