BIKES: LOCATION : This Transition Area (TA) is about a 5 minute drive from the Start/Finish. You may leave anything you'd like at this TA, however, you must take everything with you when you leave on your bikes.
PADDLE GEAR:
If you're using YOUR OWN Boat/PFDs/Paddles/Seats: Stage them at this LOCATION (about a 10 minute drive from the Start). No other gear may be left with your boats other than paddles, PFDs, and center-seats. We recommend you group and secure your team’s paddle gear together.
If you're using RENTALS: it will already be staged for you (with paddles and PFDs), so there's no need to visit the staging area.The canoes do not have a center seat. Note that if you decide to use the provided paddles you must use the type provided with your boat (single-blade for canoes or double-blade for kayak).
- WAIVERS (For those using RENTALS): The livery we use (Canoe Kentucky) has a little different requirement this year. Every racer needs to complete their individual Waiver prior to racing. Please complete the following prior to race day: Canoe Kentucky Waiver
WATER: No official water-stations are part of this course, however, you'll have access to public water sources throughout the race.
