Check-in, S/F, and everything else will be based out of Energy Lake Campground. Meet at the Activity Building. Here is the map link: Energy Lake CG Activity Building

Here’s the general gameplan - who, where, best guess timeframes.

  • Location: S/F (Energy Lake Campground)

    Timeframe: Saturday 5am-8am

    What’s Happening: Parking, Racer Coordination

    Amenities: Restrooms, water, shelter

    Tasks: Park them tight, direct to bike/boat/bucket staging areas

    Remainder of Race: Finish, scoring, food prep, as-needed.

  • Location: S/F (Energy Lake Campground)

    Timeframe: Saturday 5am till end

    What’s Happening: check-in, finish, post-race meal(s)

    Amenities: Restrooms, water, shelter, kitchen

    Tasks: packet pickup, racer coordination, meal prep, scoring

    Throughout Race: as-needed

  • Location: Devil’s Elbow Boat Ramp

    Timeframe: Friday afternoon till Sunday 9am

    What’s Happening:

    • Boat drop Friday (canoes from Canoe KY)

    • 12HR racers coming in on boat by noon Satuday > out on foot

    • 24HR racers coming in on foot by 3pm > out on boat

    • Personal boat pickup by Sunday 9am

    Amenities: Pit toilet

    Tasks: TA management, racer coordination, boat watch

  • Location: Star Camp Picnic Area

    Timeframe: Saturday noon, till close (maybe 2am)

    What’s Happening: dropping bikes for an optional 10 mile O Course, surprise pizza rolls

    Amenities: Pit toilet

    Tasks: bring the energy, TA management, serve pizza rolls, scoring

  • Location: Woodlands Nature Center Pavilion and float as-needed

    Timeframe: Saturday 8am till end

    What’s Happening: dropping bikes, distributing mapsets

    Amenities: Restrooms, water, outlets

    Tasks: TA management

    Throughout Race: as-needed. After racers lock their bikes and leave this TA, you’ll likely move to Devil’s Elbow to assist Bill. You’ll head back to this TA around 2pm. Once all bikes are gone, come to the Finish to help/hang or to Star Camp to help/hang.
