The Sugar Bush Trail Race

The Sugar Bush run is returning to the trails of Hueston Woods State Park, near Oxford, Ohio. The towering forest of Sugar Maples known to maple syrup producers as the Sugar Bush is the perfect venue for a late fall race.

Registration is $25 for either distance. Race day, walk up registration will be available, but make sure you register by November 1st to guarantee a race shirt.


The course hits the highlights of Hueston Woods, taking runners along some scenic hiking trails, including the old-growth forests of the Big Woods Trail and the Sugar Bush trail. You can expect the course to be primarily trail.

The race start and check-in is here, near the Beach. Upon entering the park, follow the signs to the Beach area.

Race Check In  -- 8:45 am to 9:45 am
Race Start -- 10:00 am
Post race snacks/award ceremony -- 10:30 am - 1:00 pm

Due to the nature of this race and the Hueston Woods trail system we can not allow participants to bring dogs along for the race.

Course Route: 5k - 1 lap / 10k - 2 laps
