THE BREAKDOWN EXPEDITION RACE – 4 DAY
We’re taking the race motto, “It ain’t supposed to be easy”, to a whole new level! FOUR days of incredible racing through the Grand Canyon of the South, superb mountain-line scenery, and the continuation of a tradition of pure, hard adventure. This course will truly be breathtaking (literally and metaphorically).
During the very first pre-race meeting of the Breakdown back in 2013, we announced that our goal was to one day link the vastness of the Pine Mountain region starting at Breaks Interstate Park and heading off west toward the sunset. After five years of planning, permitting and scouting, we’re ready to showcase the best these rugged and historic Appalachian Mountains have to offer.
